Clients often see the finish schedule as a dry spreadsheet. We see it as the most complete record of every decision made about a space — a living document that tells the full story of the project.
What is a finish schedule?
At its core, the finish schedule is a room-by-room catalogue of every surface material in the project. Floors, walls, ceilings, millwork, tile, paint — every surface has a row. Every row carries the manufacturer, product name, SKU, finish, and current status. It's the connective tissue between design intent and physical reality.
Why it matters more than the mood board
A mood board tells you what something should feel like. The finish schedule tells you what it will actually be. When there's a discrepancy between the two — and there almost always is at some point in the process — the finish schedule is where we work it out. It's where the design decisions get made real.
